Our service was started by Lion Dr.Sathyaseelan S in the year 2012 for past ten years we have been assisting individuals, families and communities – poor, orphan, abandoned, physically challenged, differently abled, socially deprived, diseased individuals to lead a productive life. Our major service is treating the alcoholic and other drugs addicted people and also the psychiatric or mentally unstable people by counseling and other forms of treatment that are needed by the victims.We have been giving a new man to the society by enlightening their life for past 10 years. A team of physiotherapists, teachers and doctors visit the victims. Eye and dental medical camps are conducted regularly in surrounding schools and colleges.
Our extent
- To support children in need of care and protection and to help destitute poor, neglected needy and orphan children.
- To promote and provide formal and informal education to the children, functional literacy in the community they live and vocational training to the youth.
- To undertake relief to those affected by natural calamities and emergencies.
- To help the poor and the needy in achieving self-reliance, carry out charitable, development and relief work in co-operation with Government, Strategic Alliances and Organisations.
- To address the issues of poverty that hinders child survival, their growth and development through various interventions and Strategic Alliances.
- To monitor and evaluate programs funded by International and National Donors.
- To offer and provide consultation, technical and professional advice to various Organisations
De-Addiction
Substance Dependency or Addiction and Co-related diseases are a major problem worldwide and India is no exception. Substance abuse is associated with significant morbidity and mortality and contributes to global burden of all disease.
Alcoholism and Drug Addiction is the inability to control the use of Alcohol or Drugs resulting in increased Physical tolerance for Alcohol and Drugs and exhibited physical dependency and mental craving by an Individual who suffers from this chronic but treatable disease.
Substance dependency is a Chronic, Progressive and Terminal disease which causes severe Physical, Psychological and Spiritual damage. It has significant impact not only on the individual sufferer, but also on the family and society besides causing financial, legal and occupational problems.
The nature of this Disease is its Compulsive, Obsessive and Impulsive need for Alcohol or Drugs, which affects all the vital areas of life of the affected Individual and Family.
Alcoholism or Addiction is caused by a disease of the brain, characterized by altered brain structure and function. The World Health Organization and American Medical Association have declared and recognized Alcoholism and Addiction as a disease. Today Studies and Research have established the fact that Genetic heritability, Personal choice, and Environmental factors are now known to be the primary factors which lead to Substance dependency or Addiction.

Moonshine De-addiction Cum Rehabilitation Centre, a Non-Profit organization, was founded in the year 2012, by Founder and Managing Trustee Mr. Sathyaseelan with the main objective to help individuals affected by the disease of Alcoholism, Addiction and Co-related disorders to recover.
Substance use disorder is a bio-psycho-social condition and requires a multi-pronged approach for its Intervention, Prevention and Management

Our service was started by Lion Dr.Sathyaseelan S in the year 2012 for treating the alcoholic and other drugs addicted people and also the psychiatric or mentally unstable people by counseling and other forms of treatment that are needed by the victims.We try to give a new man to the society by enlightening their life.
Our service is further extended to helping the children under the poverty line by giving the necessary needs.
In the year 2013 free eye care camp was initiated in Janet Matriculation school and drug awareness program is also conducted by Lion Dr.Sathyaseelan S
During disaster periods to be precise in 2015 .Lion Dr.Sathyaseelan S helped the victims of big disaster with food,clothing and other necessary stuff.In the same year for best social services he was awarded the top award called kutralam award
In 2014 Lion Dr.Sathyaseelan S was awarded a National award for best social service similarly he was also awarded also in 2016.
In 2018 he was rewarded a Degree of “Doctor of Social Works” By Board of International Peace University of Germany at the meet held at Coimbatore.
Lion Dr.Sathyaseelan’s contributions to the society is going on increasing by giving a family counseling and personal counseling for a great life and build up the future india.
We also provide the best services during the coronavirus period by giving necessary access for the victims and helping some families as possible as we could. Our service will go on further and further by Lion Mr. Dr. Sathyaseelan S.
